Realtor Spotlight | Tara Crawford, RealtySouth

February 01, 2018

Tara Crawford received her real estate license in October 2017, and she is already making solid progress towards her initial goal of selling 15 homes in 12 months. She works for RealtySouth in its Trussville office.

Q: How did you hear about AHFA programs?
A: I heard about the Step Up program from a post on Facebook, and I immediately learned more about it and shared the post on my page. I believe in sharing useful information, promoting available resources, and helping to bridge the gap in homebuyer education.

Q: What do you think is the greatest benefit of AHFA programs?
A: Step Up changes the mindset of people who thought they could never become homeowners. It leads to them getting better educated about a resource that can make the dream of homeownership happen.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: I love anything that allows me to help bring joy and relief to someone. The buying process can be very overwhelming, but being able to walk my clients through the entire process and have them stress free makes me feel accomplished and satisfied. I enjoy helping a client find their "perfect" home - a place where all their most memorable moments will be shared. I think being involved in that process is something special.
