Arab native Tenna Moultrie, manager of two multifamily developments in Albertville, has been recognized as the Alabama Housing Finance Authority’s 2024 Manager of the Year.
As manager, Moultrie oversees the daily operations of Cryar Homes and Angela Meadows, home to a total of 88 families living in affordable apartments.
Now in its 27th year, the Manager of the Year award recognizes outstanding management staff at AHFA-funded multifamily housing developments.
Nominees were evaluated on tenant relations, experience and education, the complex’s curb appeal, and AHFA program compliance.
“This award is an opportunity for us to show appreciation for the hard work of managers like Tenna,” said AHFA Executive Director Robert Strickland. “By investing herself in creating a secure, attractive and friendly environment, she makes the developments she manages a home and a haven for the families she serves.”
Olympia Management, Inc., nominated Moultrie for the award. The resident letters accompanying her nomination repeatedly mentioned her dedication to building community spirit, maintaining positive relationships, addressing safety issues, and checking on residents facing health challenges.
“Tenna takes pride in keeping the curb appeal of her property looking great,” wrote Olympia Management Division Manager Misha Lewis in Moultrie’s nomination package. “She always has her property landscaped well, which encourages prospective tenants to live there. Her paperwork is always accurate and submitted on time. Tenna is an exemplary property manager who is well deserving of the Manager of the Year award.”
