AHFA Multifamily Administrator David Young participated in the ribbon-cutting for the newly renovated Oak Meadows in Oneonta. AHFA allocated $547,000 in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for the makeover, which features new exterior security, an updated playground, a computer center, and a covered bus stop shelter. Aron Boldog, Director of Real Estate Development for CAPNA, the developer of Oak Meadows, shared insights into the property's history and emphasized the significance of preservation in affordable housing. Additionally, Byron Jimmerson, a tenant at Oak Meadows, expressed how the community means more to him than just an apartment and conveyed his appreciation for the chance to reside in affordable housing.
