Notice is hereby given that Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) will conduct a public hearing concerning the proposed 2023 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan, HOME Action Plan, and National Housing Trust Fund Allocation Plan (Plans) for the distribution of funds in exchange for the new construction of extremely low-, low-, and moderate-income projects and the monitoring of the funding for those projects.
Additionally, AHFA will present the HOME-American Rescue Plan, a significant amendment to the 2021 HOME Action Plan for the distribution of funds in exchange for the new construction of extremely low-, low-, and moderate-income projects for Qualifying Populations and the monitoring of the funding for those projects.
The public hearing will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., Central Daylight Time, at the HOME Builders Association of Alabama located at 7515 Halcyon Summit Drive, Montgomery, Alabama, 36117. All attendees must comply with COVID-19 protection measures in accordance with state, local, and venue requirements. Attendees who wish to speak must register to do so upon arrival at the venue.
