2023 AHFA 2nd Annual Kids Art Contest - Draw a Financial Literacy Lesson with Bud
AHFA’s 2023 Kids’ Art Contest brought in some amazing artwork from talented young artists across Alabama, ages 5–12. In celebration of National Homeownership Month, children were invited to create an original piece of art featuring our mascot, Bud, while sharing a lesson about financial literacy. The results were incredible! Bud appeared in all kinds of creative adventures as kids showed what they learned about smart money choices through their artwork. It was a colorful celebration of imagination, creativity, and learning.
2022 AHFA 1st Annual Kids Art Contest - What Does Home Mean to You?
AHFA invited children across Alabama to submit original artwork answering the question, “What Does Home Mean to You?” Young artists shared thoughtful and creative interpretations, showing that the meaning of home can be different for everyone. One of the winning pieces offered a particularly unexpected perspective, portraying home in a way that reminded us it’s not always about a perfect house. Instead, it can reflect the emotions, experiences, and stories that make a place meaningful. The artwork submitted for the contest highlighted the creativity and insight of Alabama’s young artists.
